Parasyte

[MATURE] Alien parasites invade with the main goal of taking over human bodies and ruling the world. However one fails to do so giving the main character abilities he would only dream of having. If you plan on watching this... watch the sub.

Kiznaiver

Kiznaiver revolves around eight people and their unfortunate predicament. I won't spoil much but it gets good. (From the same people who brought you Kill la Kill)

Redline

[MATURE] If you want another anime movie recommendation Redline is at the TOP of my list next to the Miyazaki films. It's about fast cars, underground crime organizations, and winning races.

Log Horizon

Forget about all those video game animes (I'm looking at your Sword Art) and watch Log Horizon. It's pretty much SAO but about 3x better and has no incest. You will thank me.

Trigun

If you've lurked imgur like me then you've probably seen Trigun hit a few other peoples lists. I also highly recommend it. It may seem lighthearted and fun but be warned. There are many feels to feel.

Corpse Party

[MATURE] Probably one of the only animes to actually make me cringe in pain. Just as amazing as the game, Corpse Party doesn't shy away from gory details and amazing story telling. DO NOT WATCH IF YOU CANNOT HANDLE MASS AMOUNTS OF UTTER GORE. THIS GIF DOES NOT GIVE THE OVA'S JUSTICE.

Space Dandy

[MATURE... kinda] If you want to laugh and then contemplate the meaning of life afterwards Space Dandy is the anime you want to watch. Also from the same people who brought you Cowboy Bebop.

Black Lagoon

[MATURE] About crime and other fun sad stuff Black Lagoon is another amazing entry. I'd rather not spoil much but it has lots of guns... and an amazing story... and nazi's.

Guilty Crown

If you want to cry watch Guilty Crown. It involves powers and mechs. And your tears.

The Irregular at Magic High School

[MATURE] Filled with 1.5 second long action scenes and incesty moments only the Lannisters would approve. Irregular at Magic High is an amazing anime about technology and magic as well as a much deeper plot.

Tokyo Ghoul

If you've ever come across someone wearing a weird gimp mask with teeth then they may have been cosplaying Tokyo Ghoul... if not then I recommend never returning to the location of where you saw that person. Tokyo Ghoul is set in a world where Ghouls thrive around you hidden in plain sight. They only survive by eating humans flesh and have enhanced abilities. Must watch.

Watamote

If you truly haven't cringed today and want to cringe just watch Watamote. A perfect slice of life genre that will truly make you feel bad for the main character.

Toradora

An amazing romance anime that you should watch. Watch it. I'm not spoiling anything.

Kimi Ni Todoke

Another love story that you need to watch. Watch it.

Daily Lives of High School Boys

Daily Lives of High School Boys is pretty much name implied. It's the daily lives of high school boys. If you want to laugh then watch this 10/10.

Psycho-Pass

Peoples moods are monitored 24/7 and if someones about to commit a crime the po po are there. An amazing watch.

Persona 4

DO NOT WATCH PERSONA 4 GOLDEN. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY. *ahem* Persona 4 is just as amazing as the game. These people obtain "Personas" and can travel through televisions. If that doesn't get your interest then listen to the soundtrack.

High School of the Dead

[MATURE] Honestly I couldn't find a non mature gif for HOTD. It's about zombies and plot. Lots and lots of plot. I discovered this at a young age. It changed me.

FMA Brotherhood

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is one of the few animes I started off with. Feels and many other feels with some awesome action.

Cowboy Bebop

Yes yes yes you've seen this before in other lists. Just watch it if you havent... please... It has an amazing movie and awesome music. Cowboy Bebop follows the adventures of Spike and informs you of his past.

Gurren Lagann

Again you probably have seen Gurren Lagann appear on a few lists in the past but I can't digress how amazing it is. Mechs and Feels.

Kill la Kill

[MATURE] Boobs, Swords, Laughs, A Serious plot line, Kill la Kill has it all. If you're looking to get into anime look no further.

Cory in the house

A beyond 10/10 classic, Cory in the House is a MUST.
